What medical conditions will qualify me to get a doctor’s recommendation so that I may obtain a medical marijuana card?
- Whereas states such as Colorado, Oregon and California, require their residents to have one of several specific medical conditions listed in their individual medical marijuana statutes, Oklahoma has one of the least restrictive medical marijuana programs and only requires that applicants be Oklahoma residents 18 years or older with board-certified physician’s signature. Special circumstances may be allowed for minors if applications receive (2) physician signatures as well as the applicant’s parent or guardian.
- Yes, a doctor may recommend and sign the required form for literally any medical condition that an Oklahoma resident might have.
